  • Generous hearts
  • Passion for the lost.
  • Best friends with the Holy Ghost.
  • Know who they really are (that they have been crucified with Christ, and no longer they that live, but Christ lives inside of them.)
  • That they drink deeply from the finished work of the cross, and they don't care what that looks like.
  • In LOVE with the Lord
  • Honor/Love their wife above other people & things (after God, of course)
  • Integrity - keep your word, be honest
  • Humility
  • Godly compassion for others

If you could speak to Christian men, what encouraging word would you give them?

  • Spend time with Jesus, loving Him, asking Him for a passion for the lost.
  • I would encourage them to spend themselves for the kingdom with the assurance of what they sow they will reap (good and bad but mostly the good).
  • Men of God, you try so hard. You always bear in mind the responsibilities of life and the need to take care of those responsibilities. It’s simpler than that. Just seek first the Kingdom of God and “He” will take care of the rest. You don’t have to do it all. He “will” do it all.
  • Things are better than they know! God is better than they know! God isn't looking at them as failures. He is excited about them. He loves them. I want them to know the truth about what Christ finished on the cross. I want them to see how deep and amazing God's grace is, and that he isn't looking at them with disapproval. No matter what they have done. No matter what anyone has told them. It doesn't depend on them.
  • We LOVE to see men step up and be who they are called to be in God! Be the Leader of your family - it's inspiring, its protection, and safety. Love when men are on fire - so much strength! It makes us women feel protected from the enemy.
  • Be strong in the Lord......he is with you. You don't have to BE a super hero. In HIM, you ARE a super hero. As a man of God it's ok (and even admirable/necessary) to admit your limitations and ask for help and prayer.
  • We will follow them to the ends of the earth if we felt loved, honored, cherished and protected. When we see them fierce against the enemy in prayer, yet gentle towards us, our children and grandchildren it stirs our hearts. When they take a minute to ask how we feel about something, and genuinely listen it calms our spirits. Continue to seek the face of the Lord, continue to fight for justice and mercy, continue to be bold and courageous, continue to fight the good fight and not give in to the tricks of the enemy...self defeat, narcissism, love of self, idol worship of things ( TV, pornography, self, food, addictions)
  • Don't give in the worlds passions, stay focused on the inportant things that matter the most to our Lord. And everything will work out well for you in the end.

If you could speak to Christian men, what encouraging word would you give them?

  • Take the spiritual lead in your home, even if it doesn't come naturally. God will fill the gap. He will make you into the man He wants you to be as you practice His Word.
  • That they would walk in such freedom to be who they were created
  • To be, not what other people want them to be.
  • He has a willingness to show love and praise to Jesus in home and church setting. (He's un-afraid and unashamed.)
  • To know God, love God, serve God. Do as God wants, not what the world wants.
  • God is awakening His children, both men and women. It's time to throw off those things that hinder us, like hope deferred, and position ourselves for the amazing things He is about to do through His body.
  • Women so want to be able to submit to a man that is cherishing them.
  • Take off of you the role as the provider of security for your wife. God did not intend you to be her security; He only called you to love her. The place you truly can love her is when you are secure in Christ and he is the one that completes you. Don't look for your wife to complete you through respect. It is not her role to bring you into a place of feeling good about who you are, which is what you get from being respected. Only in Christ can you find the value of who you are, being superior in Him. When the husband and wife is secure and superior in Christ then you will naturally relate to one another out of your Christ nature. An honoring of one another will come without effort. Christ died for the individual; He did not die for the marriage. So, it is your finding the completion of who you are in Christ that will bring life to a marriage. Toss out the do's and don'ts list you've been given for a 'good marriage'. Just let Holy Spirit heal your insecurity and inferiority then you won't look to your wife to take care of it.
  • Submit yourself to Holy Spirit, seek out new ways of encountering Him. Ask for more; more life in you, more of His love and expect to receive what you ask for. Stop holding back what God has placed in you and release His glory all over, wherever you go;
  • I would begin with a question......Brother, do you really know who you are in Christ Jesus? Do you know how much He loves you? Because you are in Christ, God has opened heaven to you and He is calling you to be amazed, astonished and absolutely absorbed by His love. He is bringing you into a season that the Bible calls "the time of singing" and "the time of the voice of the turtledove." A heavy burden has come upon your strength, time and energy as you have been caught up in the culture of the "next new thing" - - cars, computer, phones - - convinced that advancement in technology and the stuff of this culture would prove your worth, wisdom and prowess. You have submitted to the slithering whisper of "More" from many voices but mostly defeat has come through your own heart's agreement with the message of this culture. So a time of choosing is at hand, and the good news is that God is in it! He is in this time of tearing away the old and bringing in the new, painful as it is to timeworn and trusted patterns of dealing with life. Entertaining doubts and a lack of trust in God cannot exist in the same space as faith and trust, so one of them has to go and YOU get to choose which one it will be. Are you ready?

What are the top three problems you and other are seeing in Christian men today?

  • They serve God in their logic, not with their whole being.
  • They let the cares of life get in the way of their faith.
  • They are doers more than “be-ers.” They need to spend more time in His presence.
  • They don't know who they are... They don't know the truth about themselves, and the truth is far better than their wildest, most fantastic dreams.
  • They are trying to do it themselves, and carry responsibility; instead of letting go, and letting God take over. They need to walk in the freedom that Christ did it all on the cross, and they can do NOTHING to add to that.
  • They are looking to other things to complete them, take care of them, fulfill them, etc., instead of Jesus.
  • Lack of initiative.
  • Too content to let the women be the spiritual seekers.
  • Checking out too much.
  • Too caught up in the things of the world...distracted by the 'tyranny of the urgent."
  • Prideful...unwillingness to submit to wise counsel
  • Lack of fellowship and accountability with other Godly men
  • Complacency, lack of passion in all things except what is good for them, Lack of Prayer with a repentant heart.
  • Many men are complacent and have allowed the world's perspective to rule their lives, rather than God's plan.
  • Don't allow the world's negative view of men to dishearten or discourage you. God's Word provides a PERFECT pattern for men, husbands and fathers through Christ who walked on earth as a man, who is the husband of the bride, who is our heavenly father. Taking on the character of Christ is not beyond reach. He calls us to become like Him.
  • Self sufficiency: trying to solve problems in their own strength before seeking God.
  • We are all created to be filled to overflowing with God. Whether we fall into drugs, alcohol, gluttony, pornography or whatever else; Jesus will deliver us! He will heal us! He will fill us! Find help, do not let yourself be a slave to sin any longer.
  • Busy schedules. (We all need to prioritize: eliminate / prune out the "dead wood" unnecessary).
  • Need to "wake up" and see the direction of the world. (End times and prophesy!)
  • Wimpy……can’t give up control to God…can’t make directions for the family…wants to take the easy way…instead of working hard on a job…
  • Apathy, disappointment and fear of the future.
  • Being distracted by the cares of life, lack of integrity and being influenced by an increasing spirit of fear in our world.
  • Lack of motivation for the things of the spirit.
  • Some have seen women as a threat to them.
  • That husband and wife would complement one another and not compete against each other.
  • Being men pleasers-wanting to look important to other men.
  • Not wanting to confess their sins one to another.
  • Believing they can overcome their sin with their own will power.
  • Being satisfied with a woman being the spiritual head of their home.
  • Insecurity and Inferiority. Not understanding their roles as lovers of Christ.
  • Immaturity
  • Worry (Lack of trust)
  • Self-focus (selfishness)
  • They are too consumed with fitting in with worldly ideas and practices that they believe are right in their eyes, but are very different in the Lord's sight.
  • Many Christian men today are really not passionately dedicated to the Lord, they often act very lustful.
  • Many Christian men often act immaturity and tend to lose focus on the things that matter the most in the heart of our Lord including those who are significantly connected with their lives such as.. their spouse, children ect ..
  • What declaration/prayer would you have over the men to lift them up?
  • I plead the blood of Jesus over you men. I speak to your spirit to align itself with the very Spirit of God and to arise and shine!
  • Mighty men of valor, you are great warriors for the Kingdom. Enter the battle you see before you. It’s not your imagination. It’s real. Step out see that I will provide for you and your family in ways you never dreamed. Live in my kingdom, not this earthly kingdom. See through my eyes not your eyes. I have amazing things for you, a life you never realized. Step out beat your sword against your shield in a mighty war cry. The end times are upon us. We need you more than ever before. Lead us clothed in righteousness. Lead us clothed in His glory. Watch His manifestations. See the glory cloud turn to gold dust. See Father God replace broken lives with whole ones. See Him repair relationships that you have cried out for to be repaired. Sense His presence, glory, and miracles like never before. He has an extraordinary life for you if only you will step out.
  • Rise up men of God! Arise, Arise, And Arise!!! Take your place - pick up the mantle go forward in authority with the anointing of God - TAKE THE LAND!! Strength, wisdom, power & might yet "laid down lovers" of Almighty God!! Nothing is impossible for you!!
  • Lord, strengthen these men in their understanding of the call set before them and equip them to go and do it. May they hear what you are asking, go where you are leading and do what you require in FAITH for the outcome YOU desire. Amen.
  • I declare over you mighty men the provision of your Father! You are always rich and have more than enough in all things! You walk in great authority, commissioned by your Heavenly Father to bring glory on the earth. You have an unrelenting assignment to love those He has given you. You lend your strength to the weary and know the Source who pours streams of living water through you. Be a blessing even as you are continually blessed.
  • Father, you created man in your own image, your image is fierce, bold, majestic, demanding honor and righteousness! I break off the chains of the enemy that has been holding men back from their calling and destiny! I declare they will rise up and be the men you created them to be...men of great passion in pursuit of Your character, men of honor, integrity, righteousness, boldness, men of valor, steadfast and Truth, fierce on the battlefield but gentle to their wives and children. Jesus I ask that as you intercede on behalf of these men that they would be filled with all the gifts that you have for them, that Your love would envelop them, Your tenderness would consume them and Your heart would beseech them. Holy Spirit would you shine the light of the Gospel deep into the hearts of these men, removing all barriers that have been standing in the way of experiencing the Father Heart of Abba. Would you enlighten the eyes of understanding in their hearts, would you remove the veil of deceit the accuser has placed over their minds. Would you breathe a fresh Ruah into their souls, a fresh breath of life, renewed, on fire and refreshed? Jesus would You send a new army of angels to walk along side each man equipping them for battle with the tools and the messages from Your Throne Room! I ask that these men would be fully armed, ready to fight the good fight, never giving up on Hope or Love, pursuing relentlessly your face and Your heart. I pray these men will see the gifting's in their spouses and call them forth into the destinies God has for each of them, helping their wives to walk in the fullness of all that you have for them. That they would partner with their wives as one in ministry as well, because you also created woman in your likeness, in order for the fullness and wholeness of Your character to be established on this earth we must work together as one in all things...it takes two halves to make a whole. As they partner with their wives they will walk in the wholeness and fullness of You. They will be a force to be reckoned with, let it be so Father! Let the men of arms rise up and meet the Man of War...Jesus. For we do not serve a weak sauce Jesus, our Jesus is Mighty, He is a Warrior, He fights for His bride...so be it for man. In Jesus Matchless and Mighty Name...Amen!
  • "Oh Lord! Would you show Your awesome love to them? Would you fill Your men with your Holy Spirit, boldness and power!! Lord, would You help them put You first? Lord, would you strengthen them? Would you give them wisdom from You, Lord? Would you help them make the decisions that will lead and strengthen their families and churches? Would you reveal Yourself to them in a supernatural way and teach them to be the spiritual head in their family? Thank you Lord. I know You heard this prayer from my heart. Amen in the precious name of Jesus."
  • "Arise shine for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen over you!" Open the eyes of their heart that they might truly see and experience who You are and be filled to overflowing with Your love and the power of the Holy Spirit!
  • Father, I decree the men of our church, our ministry and our city are taking their spiritual head over their home ministry and their church in the love of Christ. They are covering their wives and children in prayer and walking the walk of Christ as a testimony to others.
  • Oh man of God rise up from your position of lower than and seat yourself in Christ in the Heavenlies. No longer looking to others to fulfill the insecurity and inferiority that the enemy has used against you from the beginning of time. You're being called to the high position of rest in the Father, for which you were created. It is in that place of rest that the 'peace that goes beyond understanding' will guide you in all that you do. No longer struggling to acomplish things out of your own strength and doing. Just as God ceased from His works in creating, He has called you to cease from your own works and rest. Open your hands, no longer clinching tightly your work, your family, your ministry. It is not out of your own strength that you will see my promises fulfilled, it is only in My rest that those promises will come to life. When you rely on your own strength and wisdom that is when death is produced, so let go and life will come forth. Find your security and superiority in Me, for no man or woman can do it for you. It is in the place of rest that you then will find strength to be the man God created you to be.
  • God is declaring a new thing in you. He says, " I AM with you mighty man of valor"! Every situation open before you has passed through God's permission to get to you, and every circumstance is all about you developing your spiritual muscle. It's called victory. It's called overcoming. The old stuff takes you down the wrong path, back into defeat and doubt. It's time for you to break through and break out! You've asked for strength to overcome, so put on your sweats and meet God at the Holy Spirit gym! You will move in greater strength as you breathe in HIS Presence. God is calling you to walk with new understanding and heightened awareness that will flow out of your intimacy with HIM......I declare that you will begin to see people through the eyes of Jesus, as indifference to their situation and condition slips away from you. You will carry a message directly from God's heart to His people during this season of scarcity because you have chosen to spend time with HIM,.....I declare that this is a season of luxury in your life - - not in the increase of possessions that require barns and locks and generates a fear of loss, but rather an increase In the luxury of hope and confidence in God, even at this very time which is so vexing to a mind focused on the offerings of this world. You will laugh at difficulty because you know in WHOM your confidence is planted.......I declare that you will be as a spoon stirring up confidence in God's Goodness wherever you are. Because you have spent time with God and take pleasure in Who He is for you, the fragrance of His presence will be upon you. In this time, negativity will drop away from you like a rotten fruit falling from a healthy tree. Surrounded by the joy of fellowship with Him, this is a time for you to abide in incredible happiness because you are confident in Him provision, power and presence, and because you KNOW God has made a commitment to never, never, never leave or forsake you......For I declare that at this very moment, just as you are right now, you are God's son, in whom He is well pleased. Evidence of his love and favor is the purposed nurture and cultivation He is lavishing upon you right now. Shake off the lie that your enemy brings. "Lay aside every weight that so easily entagles you, that you might run the race set before you. God is in your corner/on your team/cheering you on....
